HYDROELECTRIC
FROM THE HEART OF THE
ALPS
About Us
Founded in 2015 as a spin-off of the Green Power division of the BM Group, in just a few years HYDROALP has gained a prominent position in the marketfor the construction of hydroelectric turbines, water to wire hydroelectric plants, revamping and maintenance services.
Being part of a solid industrial group, having high-level professionalism, a wide range of reliable and innovative products, an effective after-sales service.
These are our strengths and with our flexibility we are applying to be the ideal partner for your hydroelectric project.
Founded BM Elettronica, an industrial automation company that focuses on renewable energy.
2002
The company expands rapidly and the BT System Holding is formed.
2007
Soft Technologies is founded, a BM Group company specialized in software development and automation systems.
BM Elettronica opens a division in Brazil.
2010
BM Elettronica invests in a new division.
BM Greenpower is born, specialized in the realization of “EPC” of renewable energy production plants.
THE PRESENT
2015
The group’s corporate structure is consolidated, with the creation of BM Group Holding, which controls over 20 operating companies with a global presence. HYDROALPis born, a company dedicated to the hydroelectric sector.
2016
HS is born, a BM Group company specialized in assembly, maintenance and hydromechanical works.
2018
HYDROALP starts the 50th turbine after only 4 years. The HS and NUOVA SERMAN companies are acquired by HYDROALP which in the meantime becomes a supplier of major Italian hydroelectric companies including Alperia Green Power and the ENEL group.
TURBINES
With the know-how and the long experience of its staff, HYDROALP is able to offer you the technologically and economically best solution.
Our turbines are engineered with a customized specifically design to best suit your plant configuration.
The goal of our technicians is to provide a high performance product by adopting the highest quality standards in the choice of materials and in the manufacturing process with constant quality controls in the construction and installation chain.
PELTON TURBINES
This turbine is an impulse-type used in a wide range of hydraulic conditions, with medium-high heads.
We supply electrical systems for power and control of hydroelectric power plants in collaboration with the BM Group.
We integrate technologically advanced solutions for low, medium and high voltage.
Electric panels, switches, protections and everything necessary for the complete management of the generated power and of all the auxiliary services for your new or existing hydroelectric plant.
AUTOMATION
With BM Automation we can provide customized solutions for the automation of your new or existing plant.
With more than 30 software developers and automation engineers we can develop and provide advanced and reliable solutions based on the main technological platforms available on the market.
VALVES
Design and manufacture of butterfly guard valves, designed and customized according to customer needs for each type of installation.
The hydraulic profile of the lens is carefully designed to minimize energy losses.
In addition to the valve, accessory systems can also be supplied: bypass, paddle flow detection system and inlet air valve.
We also perform reverse-engineering, repair andregeneration of all types of valves without size limits.
WATER GATES
We design, manufacture, and install water gates of different types and sizes. Starting from the small electromechanical actuated gates for small torrent intake, up to large hydraulic-actuated gates (turbine or penstock guard function), sector/flap gates for dam spillways, dam bottom outlet gates.
We design and build the hydraulic control system and the automation system.
Reverse engineering, repair and regeneration of all types of gates without dimensional limits are also carried out.
TRASH-RACK CLEANER
We design, manufacture and install different types and sizes of trash-rack cleaning machines: rotating, hydraulic (mono/double arm), telescopic, fixed/translating. Conveyor belts are also made for waste transport.
Reverse-engineering, repair and regeneration operations are also carried out on existing machinery.
COANDA SCREENS
The COANDA screen is used for tyrolese water intake with the possibility of take approximately 100 l/s for every meter of screen.
It is particularly suitable for mountain streams and has the enormous advantage of requiring very low maintenance for cleaning from leaves and other debris being essentially self-cleaning.
The spacing between the bars varies between 0.5 and 1.5mm and limiting the entry of debris. It reducing the need for water sedimentation.
The small space prevents the fish fauna from entering the derivation with high benefits for the respect of the environment.
We provide customized solutions for your new or existing plant.
SERVICES
Turnkey Water to Wire
Solutions
Thanks to the products and services extended portfolio and to the know-how Hydroalp can supply Turnkey solutions for the entire limit of electromechanical supply both of the power plant and of the intake structure.
In this way the customer has the advantage of having a single supplier responsible for all electromechanical equipment and without having to worry about supply boundaries and project coordination.
Hydroalp in collaboration with BM Group can also assume the role of General Contractor (EPC) and integrating in its contract also civil works, civil engineering and project management.
After Sales Services
Thanks to know-how of our technical department and our operating units, we are able to offer a wide range of after-sales services for the maximum efficiency of your plant.
Based on the customer’s specific needs, we can offer customized contracts for the following services:
O&M with h24 assistance
Predictive analysis
Ordinary and extra-ordinary maintenance
Plant rehabilitation
Technical and legal assistance for bureaucratic obligations
